Arizona's oldest autism organization (est. 1973), 2024 national Affiliate of the Year. Free classes (Autism 101, Transition 101, Safety 101), support groups across the Valley, BE SAFE program for law enforcement interactions, social events, and policy advocacy.

Temporary caregiver relief for eligible individuals. Requires both DDD and ALTCS eligibility. Coordinated through the individual's DDD Support Coordinator.

Arizona's largest center for independent living. In-home care, personal care, and habilitation through 1,800+ Personal Care Assistants in Maricopa, Pinal, Gila, and Pima counties. 45,000 sq. ft. Sports & Fitness Center with adapted gym, aquatics, climbing wall, and indoor courts. Youth transition programs ages 14–22.

Arizona's Medicaid program covering behavioral health services, ABA therapy, speech therapy, and OT for eligible residents.

Medicaid for long-term care. Eligibility based on medical/functional needs, NOT family income. Required after age 3 to receive full DDD services including habilitation, respite, attendant care, and ABA.

Enacted 2008. Requires most AZ state-regulated health plans to cover autism diagnosis and ABA treatment. Caps: up to $50,000/year under age 9; up to $25,000/year ages 9–16. Coverage until age 17. Does not apply to self-funded employer plans.

Health coverage for children under 19 who don't qualify for other AHCCCS programs. Covers autism-related therapies. Monthly premiums capped at $50/one child or $70/multiple children.

Year-round training and competition in 16 sports. Unified Sports, Healthy Athletes screenings, and Unified Champion Schools. Young Athletes program from age 2.
