Our Mission
ABA S.T.E.P.S., originated in New Jersey and has been serving special needs families for over 15 years. In 2023, we expanded to Arizona, in the beautiful Valley of the Sun!
Lisa M. Carr, the Owner and Clinical Director, has been a BCBA since 2009 and prides herself on remaining the boutique-sized company she built from the ground up - one that values connection and integrity over volume, and quality over quantity. Delivering exceptional therapeutic services while maintaining a personal rapport with every client and team member is the foundation of her philosophy, anchored in intentional care and authenticity. Our supervisors and clinicians are extensions of this standard, which aligns with the heart of ABA STEPS.
We provide evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to help children and young adults reach their fullest potential. Our team partners with families, schools, and communities to build essential skills, foster independence, and create meaningful, positive impact.
In- Home, School & Community Services
Home-based ABA therapy - 1:1 Client to therapist ratio with supervision by a BCBA.
Parent Training - teaches techniques for increasing desired behavior, while decreasing problematic behavior.
Functional Behavior Assessment ( FBA) - determines why specific behaviors are occurring.
Life Skills Coaching - focuses on increasing social skills and independence at home and in the community.
School Observations and Consultation - IEP/ FBA review and development, collaboration with CST/school community to effectively troubleshoot and establish a strong behavioral support system
In a naturalistic setting, we offer a highly personalized approach, tailored to each client's individual needs to help them achieve success.
